Who We Are
The purpose of the Lake Elsinore Teachers Association (LETA) is to represent unit members in their relations with their employer, the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. This includes wages, hours, working conditions, and basically all matters relating to conditions of employment and employer-employer relationships. Furthermore, LETA is the exclusive representative for unit members in matters relating to employment in the District.
In addition, the purpose of LETA is to create those representative bodies that will make decisions for the Association, develop professionalism and good fellowship among unit members, promote cooperation and communication with the community and improve the educational experience for the students of the Lake Elsinore Unified School District.
The Association also is dedicated to the study of issues facing the teaching profession, and taking action on those issues.
